New Favorite Cleanser

I have been on a hunt for the perfect facial cleanser, and I think I may have found it!! I've been using this product for a few weeks now, and I can honestly say that I haven't had one breakout! My skin has felt great, and it removes all my makeup without drying out my skin. I have very sensitive skin and eyes, and my skin gets dry and tends to break out when I just use soap and water. I've spent quite a bit of money on expensive cleansers that do not work. I wouldn't say that I have ever had acne, but my skin had some problematic areas. I've tried everything, including ProActive, which was a complete nightmare. I've had luck with the Clinque 3-step cleanser, but I just cant bring myself to spend almost $60 on a bar of soap, toner, and moisturizer. I can think of a whole lotta things I could spend that money on. Especially now that times are tough, sometimes forking over money for bills is difficult.
I was doing my usual browse around Target, which usually lasts anywhere between an hour to four. I just love that store! When I stumbled upon the Bert's Bee's section, the cleanser caught my eye. 99% natural, cleanses, AND removes makeup. I tend to put a few layers of mascara on, and it takes ALL of it off and leaves nothing under my eyes. I will say, that is pretty impressive.
If you're looking for an affordable, gentle, all-in-one cleanser, I would definately recommend the Bert's Bees Radiance Facial Cleanser.
(And if you haven't tried their Lip Balm, you're really missing something great)
Love and Radiant Skin,
Kim

Urban Decay Naked Palette

I have been loving my Urban Decay Naked Palette. They are hard to find, and are in high demand. They were sold out as soon as they came out. The best way to get yours is to go to the Urban Decay website and put your name on the list to be notified when they come back in stock. I waited about two weeks, but Urban Decay sent me an email and I had 48 hours to order mine before it was listed on the website. Of course I jumped on the opportunity to get my hands on it!

If you love neutral eyeshadow, you will love this palette. They are a little step up from the basic neutrals. Of course, if you love Urban Decay, you already know this. Urban Decay eyeshadows have great pay off, which means you only have to apply one layer to get the color. Not like some eyeshadows that you buy at the drugstore. It also comes with a small Urban Decay Primer Potion which is a great eyeshadow primer. You just apply a little bit on each eyelid and then apply your eyeshadow. It prevents your eyeshadow from creasing and helps it last all day long.

If you want my honest opinion, the primer is good but I LOVE MAC paint pots. (My favorite is in "Painterly."

It also comes with a two sided eyeliner pencil in black and brown. The eyeliner is great! I love it, and actually I have already used mine up. They are super creamy and go on so smooth.

The Price: The palette is $44 plus shipping and handling if you order online. The price might be an issue for some. It seems high, but if you think about it, you are getting 12 eyeshadows. 12 GREAT eyeshadows. If you are a MAC addict like me, you cant beat this price. If you calculate the price for each eyeshadow, it comes out to be about 3.66 each. Now come on, you cant even get that from CVS!

The eyeshadows are super soft, no need for pressing down to get color on your brush. There are some matte and some shimmer but nothing too crazy. Some Urban Decay eyeshadows have A LOT of glitter which can be overwhelming. I own a few single eyeshadows from Urban Decay and some just have TOO much glitter in them. Some may like that, but it makes me feel like i'm in 6th grade!!

This palette is great for traveling too! You don't have to carry around a bunch of single eyeshadows or some other bulky palette. You can do so many looks with this one palette its great! I recently had a family emergency where I literally had a few hours to pack and get on a flight to Arizona. I grabbed the essentials only. It was so easy to grab my naked palette, mascara, and foundation. It was all I needed and I never wore the same look twice.

As you can tell, I LOVE my palette and would recommend everyone to get one! Its def worth the price and wait! Hurry up and get your name on the list!!

They are also sold at Ulta and Sephora. Good luck finding yours!!

XoXo,

Kim

Philosophy: Purity Face Wash Review

I've heard lots of great things about this Philosophy Purity face wash. I put off going to get it because I had just bought a different face wash that I wanted to use up first. So, when I ran out I made my way to Ulta to buy it.

When I was looking at all of Philosophy's products, the sales lady came up to me raving about how great all the products were. So, I felt sure that I was making the right decision. I don't mind paying for a great product that I am going to love. If it makes my skin look and feel great, price doesnt matter. There are two different sizes- the 8 oz. and the 16oz. I went with the 8 oz. just in case I wasn't sold on it.

Like any new product, I wasnt so sure about it when I first tried it. I've been using it for a while now (i've used half of the bottle) and i'm still not loving it. It smells weird, and honestly, my face has been breaking out like crazy.

I am pretty disappointed that I paid $20 for a face wash that isn't any good.

They claim that it is award winning. It is suppose to be a 4-in-1 cleanser that removes makeup, cleanses the skin, tones, and hydrates. There are mostly good reviews on Ulta.com, but I would say that I have to disagree.

I have sensitive, slightly oily skin. It does remove my makeup great, is the only positive from me.

Good luck if you are trying this product. What face wash do you use? Do you like it? Does it remove makeup?

Hope this review was helpful...
